Well - the “advice” is you should slow down, dress differently, act your age. You shouldn’t be doing all of that. Sounds like a severe case of SHOULDITIS. Fortunately, treatment is available … strong boundaries, selective hearing and remembering that somebody else’s should is not your assignment.
